Michael and I met freshmen year in Chicago during RUF's spring break mission trip. Since then, our friendship has never changed. Despite how different we are, we have always been united by our desire to work with and for each other to make the most of our time here. We are brothers. We always have each others back, we always pick each other up, we always move forward together, and we are ready to serve this university!

We strongly hope that you will enter into our friendship, that has always been driven

by our desire to see a Better Appalachian and a Better World.

Hello Mountaineers!

My name is Dylan Russell and I will be running for Student Body President for Appalachian State University. I currently serve as the Director of Campus Outreach under the Cox / Barnes Administration for Student Government Association. I am a junior NC Teaching Fellow studying elementary education. I am an Appalachian Student Ambassador as well as the president and freshmen Bible study leader for Reformed University Fellowship. I actually am from "around these here parts" and like to say that I was "Boone and raised" in Watauga County. I hope that gives you a taste of my personality...if you didn't get the joke ... never fret, you're not the only one. I love to read, have political and philosophical discussions, listen to music, SCUBA dive, and pop, lock and drop-it.

I believe in a Better Appalachian. I believe in a student body that is united by a common thread, working together to reach new heights. I am bound by a deep conviction that despite how great Appalachian is there will always room for improvement.

As the President of our university I will establish an administration that will be advocates for your wants and desires. I plan on expanding the transparency I have already created by serving as Director of Campus Outreach.

I would love to receive an email from you, get lunch with you, catch up and meet, or have a mad spontaneous dance party in the library with you. I have been known to carol in the library (and consequently get kicked out of the library) in my Buddy the Elf costume.

I cannot wait to stand atop the peak together with you and see all the amazing things that we can and will accomplish together.

Hi Hi Yikas!

Howdy, Fellow Mountaineers!

My name is Michael Page and I am a Junior here at Appalachian, majoring in Finance and Banking. Currently, I serve as a Senator in Student Government, where I represent the upperclassmen of Winkler Hall. In addition, I am serving in my second year as a Resident Assistant. Previously, I was the Resident Assistant of The Ultimate Man Residential Learning Community, and this year, I can be found on the top of Winkler Hall! In my free time you may find me spending time in the outdoors, investing in the stock market, ruling at Settlers of Catan, or playing pick-up ball at the SRC.

In serving as a Senator this year, I have been working on the Student Affairs Committee. Our goal has been to create a better Appalachian for the students through improvements in various divisions of the university including Parking and Traffic, Food Services , Health Services, and many others. I am truly honored to be working with each and every person that is a part of student government. Whether or not you are a part of SGA, I would love to hear from you any questions, concerns, or comments!

Thank you for reading!

Hello everyone,

I am Adam Ezell, and current Director of Governmental Operations for the current Student Government Administration. To go along with this job, I study Public Administration, and am a Sophomore here at Appalachian. I truly believe Dylan Russell to be the best candidate for Student Body President. This is why I have taken on the job of being his campaign manager in order to aid him in his endeavors to make this campus better for all of us. I hope you all see the charisma and great innovation Dylan brings to this position in the same  way I do, and vote accordingly. Thanks for your time coming to see this website!
